TECHNICAL SKILLS
ATTACKING TECHNICAL SKILLS
There are four essential attacking technical categories that you will master to become an elite player. Namely, ball control, dribbling, passing and shooting. In essence, there are three because the passing skills and shooting skills are the same. the only difference is that with passing the target is a teammate, while in shooting the target is the goal.
Several attacking skills with both feet must be mastered before achieving elite status. You will practice and master to level of excellence a minimum of 25 skills with each foot; thus, total 50 skills.

DEFENDING TECHNICAL SKILLS
There are essentially four defending technical categories of actions: clearances (including headers and punches by goalkeepers), blocks, interceptions, and saves. Some of the clearances are similar techniques as the passing techniques. The difference is that passing has a teammate as the target while clearance techniques do not.
Several defending skills must be mastered with both feet before achieving elite status. You will practice and master to level of excellence a minimum 20 defending technical skills with each foot; thus, total 40 skills.
